There are around 20,000 tourism and hospitality businesses in Scotland, with over 200,000 employees. The very high staff turnover levels suffered by many in the sector mean that the pool is constantly renewing itself.Of course, over time, we want to reduce that turnover and improve the quality of the industry as an employer. We would also like to see 100k Welcomes as a gateway to and from other support for businesses and leaders - some of it provided by the public sector, some of it provided by you. Again, the opportunity is there.
